The workshop will guide participants in redefining their identities based on empowering factors such as values, purpose, and commitments, rather than fleeting emotions.

Attendees will learn to recognize the four types of life-alienating dialogues (making comparisons, using language that denies responsibility, moralistic statements, and manipulative language). In recognizing and interrupting these life-alienating dialogues, students can choose instead to speak in ways that foster more authentic connections.
